ORDER IRRIGATION WATER

It is our goal to provide our water users with their water needs in a reliable and efficient manner. To achieve this, it is necessary that we be informed of your water requirements sufficiently in advance to plan water deliveries and, in times of shortage, to share available water among other users.

Water users are to provide a minimum of 48-hours notice prior to starting any irrigation water withdrawal, and a minimum of 24 hours before shutting off their system. Communication with your Water District Supervisor is key.

When users take water from the system without ordering, or prior to the time authorized by the Water District Supervisor (WDS), shortages of water for other users may occur elsewhere in the system.

Similarly, when water service is no longer required the user needs to give sufficient notice to the WDS to maximize water management and minimize possible flooding or water lost to spillways.

Educational reminder notices regarding this policy are publicized locally at the beginning of each water season. Penalties may be used as a last resort to obtain compliance. We are all responsible to manage this valuable resource to the best of our ability. Your cooperation in assisting us to operate the system in an efficient manner is greatly appreciated.

If you are a current irrigation water customer, contact the Water District Supervisor (WDS) for your area:
